Book an EPC
  • Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) are needed whenever a property is:

    • built

    • sold

    • rented

You must order an EPC for potential buyers and tenants before you market your property to sell or rent.

An EPC contains information about a property’s energy use and typical energy costs recommendations about how to reduce energy use and save money.

On your certificate, ‘A’ is the most energy efficient and ‘G’ is the least. It goes without saying that a high efficiency rating means lower energy bills and fuel bills. A minimum rating of ‘E’ is mandatory for renting out a property. EPC’s are valid for 10 years.

In addition to your EPC survey we can offer consultancy on energy saving tips to help you improve your energy efficiency rating.

  • The non-Domestic Energy Performance Certificate (Commercial EPC) differs from the domestic certificate in a number of ways. It provides a graphical representation of the efficiency of the commercial property and also provides a benchmark rating for:

    • new build

    • existing stock

    • of similar buildings.

The recommendations show the impact, low – high, and are grouped by pay back period, short – long.

  • The assessment typically takes around 30-60mins depending on the size and complexity of the property. Larger properties can take longer than this.

  • An EPC (Energy Performance Certificate) assessment is a non-invasive, 30–60 minute on-site visit by an accredited assessor to evaluate a property's energy efficiency, typically required for selling or renting. The inspector measures dimensions, checks insulation, heating systems, lighting, and windows, producing a report with a rating from A–G.

  • On completion of the assessment and invoice will be sent out to you. On receipt and confirmation of payment, the certificate will be lodged on the Government database and will be emailed to you.
